Traditional West African music recorded in The Gambia. this is in the 'musical' tradition rather than the jembe based 'ballet' style. A combination of instruments - balafon, bolon & krin (log drum) creates a variation on traditional 'mande' style rhythms.

Toumaranke are a group of largely Guinean musicians, with Moussa & Chris Sylla Okameo Bangoura and kossy Camara at its core. Moussa and Chris are now UK based and play as a duo or with friends. Traditional West African instruments create a groovy and very dancable sound.
